It is difficult for starving artists to find showroom space at reasonable prices. La Bella Rosa is committed to partnering up with you. We offer our showroom space for your pieces to be displayed with no cost to you unless your items sell (and the fee is small).
We handle it all for you. Your items will be artfully displayed whether it's on the walls, in display hutches, or locked jewlery display cases. Your items may be showcased on our website. We advertise on craigslist daily, directing consumers to our web and storefront.
We handle the sale of your items, and even gift wrap or box when requested. So what's the catch? There isn't one. There is no rent for you to pay on a monthly basis. Our fees are nominal and are only paid by you if your items are sold (fee taken when your check is cut for your sold item).
Why are we offering this? It's very simple. We have the showroom, it's large and we love art and handmade crafts!!! Our store is in a heavy foot traffic area in Beacon,NY which has become an artists mecca. It's an opportunity for you, the artist, to have your specialty showcased in a fabulous location and we fill our store with beautiful handcrafted, one of a kind pieces. It's literally a win-win business opportunity for us both. Our foot traffic comes from of course locals but... a majority comes from weekenders from all over. Many of whom come up from Manhattan by train to visit Beacon and all of the great shops here.
For all of you that craft with silk/dried flowers... even though we are a flower and gift store and we handcraft our own pieces, we still welcome you as an artist to have your floral art displayed with us. We know we all have our own style of floral design so please don't shy away.
Consigning with us is very easy. Please send us an inquiry on our "Contact Us" page with a short description of your work. We will contact you for an appointment (only until we have our Grand Opening in February - then there's no appointment needed). We will email you the consignors agreement form with our terms.
